Of the ones I'm just hearing for the first time, Swear & Shake lean into the bongos for "Santa, My First Love," River Whyless do a mellow "Jingle Bells," and Powerkompany gives us the musical apology "I'm Sorry About Last Christmas," which would be a good Festivus carol now that I think of it. Odessa does an acoustic "Silent Night" and Micah Dalton gets a little spacey with "Come Thou Long Expected Jesus." Cuts by Over the Rhine, Sinclair, The Oh Hellos and James Apollo round out the collection.
