"AT Christmas," Sofia Talvik (Makaki Music)

Sofia's been a staple here at Mistletunes almost since the beginning with her insistence on making new Christmas music every year. For 2024, we get a very cool folk-rocker about a hiker on the Appalachian Trail (noted in the title) on a wintry hike who doesn't quite make it, based on the true story of a man who had better luck. Sofia's had some fairly dark takes on the holiday in the past but musically this is fairly upbeat. Visit her Bandcamp page (it's not up yet but keep checking, as it's free or pay voluntarily).
